Mannol DSG Synthetic Transmission Fluid

Description

Special synthetic transmission fluid (containing PAO) for DCT – dual-clutch transmission / DSG or "automated" gearboxes. Not recommended for "dry" clutch gearboxes. It ensures perfect transmission operation, guarantees minimal wear, a long service life, and fuel economy.

The unique low-viscosity, high-quality PAO base, combined with a multifunctional additive package, retains all its properties over a wide temperature range: it ensures good low-temperature lubrication properties (-45°C and below) in winter and guarantees a stable oil film under heavy loads and high temperatures in summer.
The technological combination of additives ensures good anti-friction properties for gears and excellent friction properties for friction elements, guaranteeing significant fuel economy, continuous and smooth gear shifts, as well as an increased service life for all transmission components (clutches, hydraulic actuators, synchronizers, gear pairs).
It has high thermo-oxidative stability and excellent resistance to thermal degradation at high temperatures, allowing for extended drain intervals and reduced maintenance costs.
It protects metal parts made of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys from corrosion, both during operation and at standstill.
It effectively resists aeration and foaming.
It ensures excellent compatibility with sealing materials, preventing them from swelling, hardening, and shrinking, thereby reducing parts costs and preventing leaks.
It reduces noise.

Recommended for VW/Audi, BMW, Ford, Peugeot/Citroën, Volvo, Chrysler, Dodge, Mitsubishi transmissions, as well as ZF gearboxes and commercial vehicle transmissions requiring a special oil complying with the specified specifications.
